JEThe 2020 NBA title SHOULD have an asterisk next to it because asterisks are meant to call out “hey, this one is different!” Do I view it as less of an achievement? Absolutely not. In fact, LA not having home court advantage despite being the 1 seed was a massive disadvantage.
It’s just inarguable to me that the championship is not the same type of basketball played as the other ones. Detractors usually diminish the bubble for Lebron specifically, but seriously—has he not proven to you already that he could handle a 82 game season plus travel and all that other stuff?
