Re-carved my big luna moth stamp since the original one was getting pretty worn out.😊 A little bit about the stamp making process below. Steps: Using a pencil, go over the drawn design, tracing it completely. Turn over onto a carving plate and secure it with tape so it doesn't budge. Use a tool, like scissors, to go over each section with medium pressure, making sure to transfer the penciled drawing. Draw directly on the plate, any missing parts of the design that don't fully transfer. Start carving out the small details, working on one section at a time. Don't rush the carving stage. Test the finished block stamp, using a dark ink on light color fabric and see if anything else needs to be carved away. Materials used: Eco karve print plate Pfeil carving tools Speedball ink & brayer Enjoy!
