Buying the Steam Deck in 2026 might sound crazy… but hear me out 👀 Unboxing this made me realise one thing… I should’ve bought the Steam Deck way earlier 😮‍💨 Is it still worth picking up in 2026? Honestly—it depends on what you’re looking for. I was this close to getting the ROG Ally X, but for almost half the price, the Steam Deck just makes more sense. That OLED screen absolutely pops 🤌🏼 and even a 1080p LCD on the ROG doesn’t hit the same—sorry, not sorry. Coming from a PlayStation-only ecosystem, SteamOS feels right at home. No constant tinkering, everything on auto, and with a newborn around, that matters a lot. Pick up, play, done. Even though I don’t own many steam games I’ve always browsed the sales and the sales do be sale-ing frequently.
