NOHalloween is such a beautiful time for community. While I absolutely love seeing costumed kids of all ages, it’s so important to welcome the teenagers. They are straddling the line between being kids and being adults, and this may the last time they let themselves be unselfconscious kids, simply enjoying the fun of trick-or-treating with their friends. EMConsistent in the inconsistency. Straddling two weeks - this week and last week - with a talk at my local @rotaryinternational Club where the theme was red, hence my emergency cardigan purchase from @hm Then a fast-forward this week and new launches from @urbandecayuki at @joiabattersea for a Glow-themed breakfast - orange donut anyone? I truly love this Face Bond Luminiser, £38. I was matched with PCH and have been wearing it every day. Conveniently it pairs extremely well with the new @sttropeztan Sunlit Skin Self Tan Express, £29, which was the launch I went to the following day where @katiejanehughes showcased all the ways to use it to create your most lusciously sunkissed self. I'm already a huge fan of Katie's @kjh.brand Soft Smudge Lip & Cheek Sticks so went home and bought the three colours I didn't already have. Perhaps I was on a makeup high after having @hannahmartinmakeup do my lip liner in the ladies' loos. I'm sorry, but does it get any better? Also, discovered that I need a little more time to cover my greys for my beloved @clairol_uk_ire root touch up to ‘take’. The week ended with a slightly embarrassing fashion faux-pas via @hollandcooperclothing x @victoria and some shoulder pads at the @bootsuk @no7uk Education Day in association with @britishbeautycouncil I hosted some workshops and interviewed @afroglory_ about her career in content creation and met some incredible creators as well as a long overdue catch up with my friend @milliekendall

FLI promise you; this is a very special treat for Ciro as for most processes on the wheel having a dog straddling you would make working almost impossible.
There are days where instead of wanting to sleep on his warm bed underneath the radiator, Ciro will INSIST on wanting to me on my lap. For some tasks, extraordinary rarely, this works, such as with this batch of mugs that needed their bases double checked after having their handles attached, quality control so to speak.
I was never really a dog person prior to this pup but here’s a sweet, occasionally loud and very loving dog that wants nothing more than to tuck himself into your armpit for warmth.
So, here’s a short video of this rare moment, I just wish he did want the kidneys I’m working with constantly.
