In my 20s, I felt completely lost—dreaming of something big but having no clear vision or direction. I battled frustration and self-doubt as I watched my peers land secure jobs, while I struggled to figure out my path.
But here’s what I’ve learned since then:
1️⃣ Nobody knows what they’re doing
I used to think everyone else had life figured out, but the truth is, most people are just figuring it out as they go.
2️⃣ Take your biggest risks while you’re young
You’re the youngest you’ll ever be right now, with fewer responsibilities and less to lose—so go for it! Even if you fail, you’ll have plenty of time to recover and try again.
3️⃣ Just take action & steer as you go.
Clarity often comes through doing, not overthinking. Take one small step forward and let life give you feedback. It’s better to adjust your course along the way than stay stuck in thought.
4️⃣ Nobody cares as much as you think.
Most people are too busy thinking about themselves to judge you for long. That realization is so freeing—it allows you to focus on being your true self and doing what matters most to you.
5️⃣ Learn to trust your intuition.
When you tune out the noise of others’ expectations and follow what feels right to you, you’ll find the path meant for you.
