Save these for later 💫 Struggling to stay awake while studying? These 5 science-backed strategies will help you study effectively even when you’re exhausted: Tip 1: Caffeine-Nap Trick A cup of coffee or tea followed by a 15-minute power nap will help you wake up feeling more alert. Tip 2: Five-Minute Rule Convince yourself to study for just five minutes. Once you start, you’ll likely find it easier to keep going. Tip 3: Active Recall > Rereading Passive studying won’t work when you’re tired. Instead of reading your notes again, use flashcards, try testing yourself, or explain concepts out loud. Tip 4: Switch Up Your Environment A small change—like moving to a different room or sitting by a window—can help reset your focus and improve concentration. Tip 5: Low-Effort Learning If reading feels impossible, let the information come to you. Listen to an audio summary or watch an educational video. Even a little studying is better than none, so don’t be too hard on yourself. Prioritize rest and take care of yourself! How to Study When You Keep Forgetting…Study tips and techniques that actually work☕️📚 ‼️🗣️Forgetting usually happens because we read too much and recall too little. Your brain remembers information better when you actively use it, not just read it‼️ → Use these methods to make studying stick😶‍🌫️ 1. 📚 ACTIVE RECALL ➡ After studying a topic, close your book and try to remember everything without looking ➡ Write it down or say it out loud 💡TIP : Study for 25–30 minutes → close notes → write what you remember ⁉️WHY IT WORKS : Your brain strengthens memory when it retrieves information, not when it rereads it 2. 🧠 SPACED REPETITION ➡ Revise the same topic multiple times with gaps. Example schedule Day 1 → Learn the topic Day 2 → Quick revision Day 4 → Test yourself Day 7 → Final revision 💡TIP: Short revisions are much stronger than cramming. 3. ✍🏻BLURTING METHOD ➡ Read a topic once ➡ Close the book ➡ Write everything you remember on a blank page ➡ Check what you missed ⁉️WHY IT WORKS: It shows your exact weak points quickly. 4. 🎤 TEACH IT LOUD ➡ Explain the topic like you’re teaching a friend. 💡TIP: If you cannot explain something simply, that means you don’t fully understand it yet. 5. 📝 PRACTICE QUESTIONS ➡ Solve questions or past papers after studying. ⁉️WHY IT WORKS: Applying knowledge helps the brain remember it longer than passive reading. 6. ⏳ STUDY IN FOCUS BLOCKS ➡ Study 40–50 minutes ➡ Take a 10 minute break 💡TIP: Long sessions cause mental fatigue and forgetting. 7. 🔁 DAILY QUICK REVISION ➡ Spend 10 to 15 minutes at night revising what you studied that day ➡ This prevents forgetting before the brain moves information into long-term memory ✨ SIMPLE RULE✨ ➡ Reading creates familiarity ➡ Recalling creates memory The more you test yourself, the less you forget!!📖🧠 #studytips #studygram #tips #studymotivation #trending

Let’s be honest, most days you won’t feel like studying. You’ll scroll a bit, think about doing it later, maybe open your notes… then close them again. It’s not because you’re lazy. It’s because your brain is trained to avoid discomfort. Here’s what actually works: 1. Lower the bar. Don’t aim for 3 hours. Tell yourself “just 5 minutes.” Once you start, momentum takes over. 2. Change your environment. Move your body. Clean your desk. Go somewhere quiet. Physical reset = mental reset. 3. Use the 5-minute rule. Start the timer for 5 minutes. Study badly if you have to, the goal is just to start. 9 times out of 10, you’ll keep going. Because the truth is: You’re not supposed to “feel ready.” You’re supposed to start anyway, and become the person who does things even when it’s hard. Follow @studypla.app for more! Study SMARTER, not harder or longer! ✅🏆💯👩🏽‍🎓 - The Hack? 📕 Active Recall + Spaced Repetition 📕 1️⃣ Revise or learn content through techniques that requires you to retrieve information when prompted, without reading/looking at your notes. Examples include: Flashcards, Blurting, Practice Questions. 2️⃣ Review this content at regular, increasing intervals. For example: Say you learn something in class that day. You would then review the content… —> when you get home from school —> again that weekend —> the weekend after —> in a fortnight —> in a month —> in 3 months. This combo is one of the most EFFICIENT ways to study, and will help you learn & remember content SO much faster, and for way longer too 🤓🤓🤓 - #studysmarter #studysmart #studyskills #studyhacks #studytips #student #studentlife #topscorer #goodgrades #topstudent #schoolmemes #schoolife #studentproblems #ATAR #VCE #HSC
