THWide Gape oder Longshank!?
🇩🇪Beide Haken haben mittlerweile einen festen Bestandteil in meiner Tacklebox. Beide Formen ähneln sich sehr, doch haben wie die Namen schon sagen ausschlaggebende Unterschiede: die Länge des Schenkels und die Breite der Öffnung. Zudem hat der Longshank eine gerade Spitze, und der Wide Gape eine nach innen gebogene. Kurz und knapp: der Vorteil vom Longshank ist meiner Meinung nach, dass die Fische schneller Haken. Der Nachteil, dass durch den langen Hebel und der geraden Spitze die Fische schneller aussteigen. Angel ich Hindernissfrei, wähle ich immer öfter den Longshank. Bei viel Kraut oder Hook and Hold Angeln immer den Wide Gape. Bei beiden Varianten immer die X Version.

The two shapes are very similar, but as the names suggest, they have decisive differences: the length of the shank and the width of the opening. Additionally, the Longshank has a straight point, while the Wide Gape has a bent point. In short: in my opinion, the advantage of the Longshank is that fish hook faster. The disadvantage is that due to the long lever and the straight point, fish can come off more easily. When fishing without obstacles, I often choose the Longshank. When there is a lot of weeds or when fishing hook and hold, I always go for the Wide Gape. In both variants, I always choose the X version.
