Once you’ve ensured water availability, recognized your tank fill plumbing size and opened the tank to pump and tank fill, here are the next steps to burp draft from instructor Andy Soccodato of The Water Thieves:
3️⃣ Open your tank to pump and tank fill fully.
4️⃣ Throttle up to 150 PSI on the master discharge gauge.
5️⃣ Crack the master intake valve to release trapped air into the pump—watch for gauge fluctuation.
6️⃣ Open the intake in small increments only. Going too fast risks stalling the process with excess air.
7️⃣ Repeat the process until the discharge gauge levels out at approximately 150 PSI.
