USThroughout Basic Combat Training, #BCT, or One Station Unit Training, #OSUT, U.S. Army Trainees are exposed to Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). The TCCC concept was established in 1996 by Special Operations Forces as an evidence-based and battlefield-proven way to reduce deaths at the point of injury.
Nearly 90% of combat fatalities occur before a casualty reaches a medical treatment facility, emphasizing the importance of training to focus on reducing the number of combat deaths.
TCCC was created to train Soldiers and medical personnel on current best practices for medical treatment from the point of injury to evacuation.

Wir haben uns darüber ausgetauscht, ob das Tourniquet bei der Fremdanlage grundsätzlich zu öffnen ist, da davon auszugehen ist, dass ein Bystander oder der Patient selbst auf die Blutung drückt. Damit muss das Tourniquet geöffnet werden, um es proximal der Blutung anzulegen. @dr.danielgrassmann hat eine Methode vorgestellt mit der man vom Schlüsselbein aus die Blutung temporär stoppen kann.

U.Train together, fight together, save lives together! Our medical #Soldiers from @65thmedbde collaborated with @army_rok’s 1st Army during a Tactical Combat Casualty Care exercise last week. This week-long training occurred at the ROK Army’s 9th Division Urban Area Operation Training Grounds in Paju, South Korea. The goal of the TCCC was to exchange emergency medicine practices and doctrines to enhance interoperability in combined large-scale combat operations. YVHonoured to join the Tibetan Canadian community at the Tibetan Canadian Cultural Centre-TCCC ༄༅། །གངས་ལྗོངས་ཆོས་ལྡན་གླིང་། to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize Award to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Earlier this year, during Losar, I was proud to help announce over $1 million from the Federal Government for the Tibetan Canadian Community Centre. It’s incredible to see these upgrades in action - creating additional spaces for programs.
The Government of Canada also took an important step last week by imposing sanctions on senior Chinese officials, including Chen Quanguo, Wu Yingjie, and Zhang Hongbo, for undermining the human rights of Tibetans. Canadians remain united in standing up for the Tibetan people.
Proud to support the Tibetan community in Etobicoke Centre and across Canada, and to stand with Tibet in their fight for self-determination.
