It starts with this guy Doug Engelbart, in 1964, invented the very first computer mouse. And it looked like this. A heavy wooden shell with two metal wheels underneath to track movement. He called it a “mouse” because the cord sticking out of the back looked like a tail. It took almost 20 years for Apple to popularize it with the Lisa computer in 1983.
