Simon Oliver Sinek (born October 9, 1973) is an American author, motivational speaker, and leadership thinker best known for redefining how individuals and organizations think about purpose, leadership, and long-term success. Early Life & Education Sinek was born in Wimbledon, London, to a Jewish family of Hungarian-Jewish descent. His childhood was global—he lived in Johannesburg, London, and Hong Kong before settling in the United States. He graduated from Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest in New Jersey in 1991, earned a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Brandeis University, and later studied law at City, University of London. Career Sinek began his professional career in advertising, working at Euro RSCG and Ogilvy & Mather in New York before founding Sinek Partners, a company focused on strategic communications and leadership development. He rose to global prominence after introducing the “Golden Circle” framework—Why → How → What—which argues that the most successful leaders and organizations inspire action by clearly communicating why they exist before explaining how they operate or what they sell. His 2009 TEDx talk, “How Great Leaders Inspire Action,” became one of the most-watched TED talks of all time, cementing his influence in business, leadership, and organizational psychology. Sinek has spoken at major global platforms, including the United Nations Global Compact Leaders Summit, taught strategic communications at Columbia University, and served as an adjunct staff member at the RAND Corporation. In 2019, he expanded his mission by launching The Optimism Company, a digital learning platform aimed at building stronger, more resilient leaders and teams. He later founded Optimism Press, an imprint under Penguin Random House. . . . .#spotlight #global #years #smallbusiness #actor #advice #qoutes #award #speech #life #motivation #millions #reels #viral #trending #growth #mindset #speaking #brave #successful #business #hugging #love #disneylove #disney #partners

Happy New Year’s Eve, friends! 🎉 We’re not huge on traditional resolutions in our family, but we do love using the fresh start of a new year to dream and be intentional about reviewing and setting goals. And every single time we discuss goals? Creating better screen habits makes the list. ❤️ As we look ahead to 2026, what if we gathered as a family over the next few days and asked these questions: ⏳How can we be more intentional with our time this year? ⌛️What small changes can we make to find a healthier balance with screens? If you want the full 11-minute TEDx Talk by Dino Ambrosi from Project Reboot, comment TEDTalk and we’ll send you the link. @ted #NewYears #nextTalk #screentime #goal

Mel Robbins (born October 6, 1968) is an American author, former criminal defense attorney, motivational speaker, and one of the most influential voices in modern self-development. After facing personal and financial setbacks in her 40s, Mel rebuilt her life by turning simple, science-backed behavior tools into actionable frameworks for everyday discipline. She rose to global prominence with her TEDx talk and bestselling book The 5 Second Rule, which introduced a practical method for overcoming hesitation and taking immediate action. Mel later launched The Mel Robbins Podcast, now one of the most-listened-to self-improvement podcasts worldwide, and continued her impact with bestselling works like Think Yourself Happy and The Let Them Theory. Mel’s journey proves a hard truth: confidence isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you build through action. Her work emphasizes responsibility, clarity, and execution, reminding people that lasting change starts the moment you stop negotiating with your excuses. You don’t need more confidence. You need to build the skill underneath that which is Self trust. Do I trust myself that I can handle the situation? Do I trust myself that I can bounce back? Do I trust myself that I will show up and do my best? Self trust is a firm, internal reliance on your own integrity, judgment, and capabilities, regardless of outcomes. And it’s the foundation to real confidence. The best way to build it is to get very good at keeping the promises you make to yourself. No matter how small or big. If you say you will go to the gym. Go. If you say you will go for a promotion. Do it. If you say you will take a break. Take it. If you keep breaking those promises, your self trust slowly gets destroyed. P.s this is one of the themes I discuss in my new TEDx talk: give me 10 mins and I’ll make you dangerously confident. There are 2 more pieces to the puzzle!

Watch his hands This student perfectly demonstrates that when we make an ever-so-slight change in our hand position, it makes a big difference in how confident we look. Same words, different hand position = different result. This is JUST the hands! Imagine how big of a difference we can make if we change other areas of speech! Let me know if this was helpful P.S —> Want to be a memorable speaker? Pressure is a common visitor in high-performance environments, and it arrives long before the actual moment of performance. It’s an experience we create for ourselves inside our own head, and it increases in proportion to how tightly we hold a future outcome. The more meaning we attach to winning, proving ourselves, or getting something right, the more the present moment starts shrinking. Fear works in a similar way. It shows up when the mind drifts into imagined consequences at some point in the future — embarrassment, judgement, disappointing teammates, or the possibility of failure. None of this means the experience is insignificant. These sensations are part of being human. But what becomes useful is recognising that both pressure and fear are internal constructs. We create them ourselves, often unintentionally, when the ego becomes active. That part of us wants to look good, to be accepted, or at least to not look foolish. Once that drive takes over, the mental noise rises and the present task becomes harder to access. Awareness invites a different experience. When athletes notice the mental drift early, they usually find their way back to presence. In that space, clarity, rhythm, and freedom tend to return. Performance becomes less about managing the future and more about expressing what they’re capable of right now.
