As a telecoms lawyer for 25 years, I saw firsthand how competition and the innovations sparked by the Act dramatically transformed the communications ecosystem. Legacy networks are everywhere, and we play a key role in keeping them alive and well. While most of our day job is refurbishing current, in-life network equipment (that’s what pays the wages), I’ll admit it — the older networks we support are often the most interesting.
