Subomi & Ayobami’s wedding day was nothing short of beautiful. 🤍✨ From the early morning preparations to the final moments of celebration, every part of this day was filled with love, joy, culture, and unforgettable energy. Being trusted to document moments like this is something I never take for granted. As a wedding photographer here in Dallas, I get to witness stories that words can hardly explain. The quiet moments, the laughter between friends, the emotional hugs from family, the way the couple looks at each other when they think no one is watching… those are the moments that make this job so special. @olasubomikoiki and @oluwasuyiayobami day had it all. The elegance, the style, the culture, the people, and most importantly the love. From the details to the big celebrations, every moment reminded me why I love what I do. And of course, weddings like this are never done alone. It takes an incredible team, amazing family members, and friends who bring the energy from beginning to end. Being a photographer today means showing up on almost every platform. The 9-5 we tried to avoid somehow turned into a 24/7 job. But my motivation came from going back in time. Growing up in a Nigerian household, every morning my mom displayed her goods… and every night she packed them up and locked the shop. Same routine. Every single day. As the laziest child in the family, I used to think, “People already know you sell this… why display it again?” Now that I run a business, I finally understand. If the goods are not displayed, people won’t know the shop is open. My mom had her products. I have my camera gear. Posting your work is the same as displaying your goods. Sometimes people don’t even know they need milk until they see it on the shelf. And remember: If you don’t show up, someone else will. My rich aunty @__itzlydia @hairshop.ng2 came to the studio for her birthday shoot and it was definitely one for the books. 🎉 You know those people that say “I can’t pose for pictures” and then end up killing every pose? We were honored to have their leader in the studio today. 😂 Ms Yetunde is usually the friend that follows everyone to their photoshoots for moral support, but today she finally stepped in front of my camera and absolutely ate it up. Two outfits. Two different energies. A stunning blue gown and a rich brown look. We started with the white background, switched to blue, brought out the white couch to match her inspiration, and finished strong with a mix of brown and black backgrounds that came out 🔥 And of course our favorite @mylifeassugar_ was in the studio bringing her usual good vibes. Whenever those two are together, two things are guaranteed: 1️⃣ Fola will be playing 2️⃣ They will argue about age 😂 Makeup @vickysglampro_ This shoot was pure vibes from start to finish.
