ROLast one if you’re too scared 😱 Which one is your favorite for skating hills? If hills are a problem for you when skating, here’s 5 easiest ways to challenge them:
1. Crawl: works well if you have knee pads
2. T-Stop: bend your knees, scissor your skates, rotate the back skate and use it to drag yourself to lose speed. This will wear your wheels quicker
3. Side Steps: take small steps while facing the hills sideways. Make sure to bend your knees for better balance and if there’s a fence you can hold it
4. Surfing with A-frame turns and parallel turns. This is a bit more advanced but just like skiing you will slow yourself down
5. Walk: remove your skates and simply walk down the hill. Obviously I’d recommend having your shoes with you but worse case scenario just use your socks
