Khao San Road, the famous backpacker road in the centre of Bangkok, filled with bars (you can get a mixed drink in a bucket), people selling scorpions (tourist photo thingies), ping pong show offers (you don't want to and you shouldn't want to go there!), a street market (affordable clothing and food, all you need,right), and of course hostels!
I remember showing up here (nothing booked, found a hostel on the spot just like in the movies!) more than 10 years ago and being in a weird combination of shock and enjoyment 😂
Khao San Road is crazy/fun/dirty/good/diverse/a lot and everything in between....
One thing we can be sure of: it's a famous part of Bangkok, so of course I had to bring my mother there during our trip to Thailand... 😅
Now this video shows my reaction to the street... Who wants to see hers next!? 😏👀
