here’s what not to do if you have mature eyes:
Old way👇🏼
❌Don’t close your eyes when applying eyeshadow. If you have hooded eyes you will not see the product when you open your eyes.
❌ If you have maturing eyes and texture on the lid, applying a darker color all over can emphasize texture and make the eye appear heavy
Instead try this👇🏼
✅Use a warm or medium eyeshadow color to create a crease. Not too dark or too light
✅ Keeping eyes open, find the arch of the brow and apply a small eyeshadow dot of color directly underneath (leaving a small space between the dot and the color).
✅ Blend with your eyes open. Blend upwards toward the tail of the brow which will elongate the eyes.
✅Apply a medium matte or finely milled shimmer on the lid (I used a color called tangled) and then apply a tiny amount of shimmer (cream toned is best) on inner corner to make your eyes more open) *small amount-don’t go crazy with this color🤪

REI’m 44 and I finally have figured out what looks and feels good. I have a fairly small capsule wardrobe that I rotate through and about 60% of it is from COS. I love classic, minimalistic lines and they make the best shirts. This was fun, taking a tripod into a change room for the first time and all🫣.
