Oggi ripercorriamo un retroscena raccontato da Roger Taylor sulla creazione della bellissima "Under Pressure"
Ecco le sue parole: "Eravamo tutti ubriachi. E in studio ci mettemmo a suonare vecchie canzoni per puro divertimento. Ricordo che suonammo due vecchie canzoni dei Cream e altre cose che ci venivano in testa. Poi David disse: 'Aspettate un attimo: perché non ne scriviamo una noi?'".
Successivamente, da un'improvvisazione di John Deacon, nacque il riff di "Under Pressure". Però, prima di iniziare a comporre, il gruppo si fermò per ordinare delle pizze. E subito dopo, Deacon dimenticò il riff suonato in precedenza. E allora ricominciarono da capo e, a David Bowie, venne l'idea di aggiungere schiocchi di dita e battiti di mani.
