BRShallow the club and compress your irons better, it’s not an easy drill but it’s a great one. I see a ton of players try to compress their irons and hit down on them leading to steeper tendencies in the swing. To correct it and get the club more underneath players often times sacrifice weight transfer and lean back to help lower the club, this leads to hitting the ground first.
This is a great way to get the club to work inside but force you to still get the weight/body moving forward.
