ALWatch the pressure shift 👀
This is one of the biggest moves great ball strikers make… and most golfers miss it.
Rory isn’t just loading into his trail side in the backswing, he’s already re-centering back towards the target by the time his lead arm is parallel to the ground.
➡️ Pressure moves slightly away from target early
➡️ Then shifts back towards target before the backswing is even finished
➡️ From there, it keeps moving forward into impact (around 70% lead side)
That early shift is what helps:
✔️ Consistent strike
✔️ Better low point control
✔️ More powerful, efficient movement
If you stay stuck on your trail side too long… you’re always playing catch-up.
Re-centre earlier = strike it better.
