So I found yet another example of a logical fallacy in our comments section about raw milk! This one is called the base rate fallacy. In a nutshell, raw milk appears safe because compared to things like leafy greens, there are a whole lot less reported cases of people getting sick. But when you take into account the total number of people eating leafy greens and drinking raw milk, you find that it’s *much more likely* for a person to get sick from raw milk.
