Today’s little treasure hunt at Value Village and I may have found some beautiful pieces 🤍
Vintage crystal, delicate tea cups, and the sweetest little dishware that instantly had my mind racing with spring ideas.
I love seeing ordinary pieces and imagining them in new ways — gravy boats as tiny planters, egg cups holding spring bulbs, and teacups filled with flowers.
Thrifting is like a little creative adventure… you never know what inspiration you’ll find.

MAI thought thrift stores were supposed to be for people who can’t afford full price, but a lot of these items were so expensive for what they were.
Value village, especially! Clothing was costing as much as it would’ve cost if I had bought it new.
I don’t think I’m gonna be picking up anything from here again anytime soon.

CUAlmost walked out… and then I saw it. 🐇
I stopped at Value Village in Hawthorne (part of the Unique Thrift chain) and honestly… my first impression wasn’t great. The store felt a little picked over and some prices seemed high for thrift. They do run color tag discounts, which is nice, but I was pretty much ready to leave.
And then… right before heading to the door… I spotted it.
A brass sleeping shelf bunny.
One of those pieces collectors love and one I’m always telling people to watch for.
And that’s the thing about thrifting most people miss:
It’s not about the store.
It’s about the knowledge.
When you learn what to look for, what collectors buy, and what actually sells… treasures can show up anywhere — even in the store you almost walked out of.
A couple notes on this stop:
• The self-checkout was great (super quick)
• Huge store with a lot to dig through
• Color tag discounts can make a difference
I may swing back one more time to reevaluate.
But today’s reminder:
Educate your eye and the treasures will find you.

WHThis one is fun because my mom trained me to thrift at the @valuevillage_thrift in Olympia, WA, so I felt right at home here!
I honestly didn’t have time to do all the sections, so I focused on kids + athleisure, which are my go-tos when I’m shorter on time.

The staff was excited to be there + the one overseeing the checkout area complimented my nails and I’m always gonna like someone who compliments my nails 💅🏼
