Existe una tendencia cognitiva a la sobrerumiación: analizamos en exceso, anticipamos escenarios, intentamos controlar variables que aún no existen. El cerebro entra en hipermentalización y convierte situaciones manejables en amenazas percibidas. A esto se suma la disonancia cognitiva: queremos seguridad, pero elegimos cambios; buscamos calma, pero sostenemos vínculos que nos activan. Esa incoherencia interna genera tensión psicológica constante. Después aparece el sesgo de negatividad: la mente prioriza lo que falta, lo que duele, lo que podría salir mal. Y desde ahí construimos narrativas complejas que refuerzan la ansiedad anticipatoria. No es que la vida sea más difícil de lo que era. Es que la procesamos con un sistema nervioso hiperestimulado y una mente entrenada para prever riesgos. El problema no siempre es externo. Es interpretativo. Sobreanalizamos lo que podríamos experimentar. Intelectualizamos lo que deberíamos sentir. Controlamos lo que solo puede vivirse. Y así, intentando protegernos del error, de la incertidumbre y del dolor… terminamos aumentando la carga psicológica. La paradoja es clara: cuanto más intentas tener todo bajo control, más compleja se vuelve la experiencia de vivir. La mente busca certeza. La vida funciona en probabilidades. Madurar psicológicamente no es entenderlo todo. Es tolerar no entender, no prever, no controlar… sin colapsar. Porque a veces no necesitas resolver más. Necesitas simplificar la relación que tienes con lo que te pasa.
