Unlike a Scalar (which is just a number, like your age or the temperature), a Vector is a quantity that needs TWO things to be complete: 1️⃣ Magnitude: How much? (Represented by the length of the arrow). 2️⃣ Direction: Which way? (Represented by where the arrowhead points). But a few special vectors behave differently — they only stretch or shrink without changing direction. These special vectors are called eigenvectors, and the scaling factor is called the eigenvalue. In this visual reel, we start with a simple 2×2 matrix and explore the equation A x = λ x, which means that after applying the matrix A, the vector x stays on the same line, scaled by λ. By constructing the characteristic equation and solving it step by step, we find the eigenvalues and then compute their corresponding eigenvectors. Finally, we move from algebra to geometry. On the coordinate grid, you will see how ordinary vectors rotate and distort under a linear transformation, while eigenvectors keep their direction perfectly. This geometric behavior explains why eigenvalues and eigenvectors appear everywhere — from computer graphics and physics to data science, machine learning, vibration analysis, and differential equations. In this video, I demonstrate how facial structures respond to lifting depending on anatomy, skin quality, and proportions. Despite ethnic differences, the key principle remains the same - controlled vertical and diagonal repositioning of tissues. This vector allows lifting of the upper and midface, improving brow and cheek position, softening the nasolabial folds, and restoring a fresher, more rested look. At the same time, we can also influence the lower third - refining the chin, improving jawline definition, and harmonizing facial proportions. Eye aesthetics can also be adjusted. Importantly, lower eyelid correction is performed without external skin incisions. When needed, a transconjunctival approach is used. Upper blepharoplasty can also be added. Your text is split into tokens. Each token becomes a long list of numbers that represents meaning. Meaning lives in directions. Different directions in this space capture different concepts. One direction might represent “Michael,” another “Jordan,” another “basketball.” A single vector can point in many directions at once, so it can carry multiple ideas. Then the vectors move through the same two blocks over and over. Attention lets tokens share information with each other. MLPs add new information to each token. This is where knowledge gets added. Inside an MLP, the vector is multiplied by large matrices that check for patterns. Activations decide what matters. Another matrix then adds specific information back into the vector. So a “Michael Jordan” vector can pick up “basketball” along the way. This repeats across many layers. Early layers just represent the name. Later layers add athlete, basketball, Bulls, era, and context. By the final layers, the meaning is very specific. At the end, those vectors are turned back into probabilities for the next word.
