PAYesterday, nine families woke up to an ordinary day… and by evening, their lives were changed forever. A UPS plane went down in Louisville. Nine souls gone. Nine homes now carrying a weight that can’t be explained with words.
I remember that kind of news.
I remember the shock.
The silence.
The world that keeps spinning while yours comes to a stop.
If you are married… if you are dating… if you love someone… please hear me:
Hold them close tonight.
Say the words.
Do not assume “later.”
Later is not promised.
Grief has taught me that love isn’t something you store up.
It is something you pour out.

Lord, comfort the families.
Hold them in the darkness.
Be near to the brokenhearted, as You promised.
