DAYeah, you read that right. London Marathon training… minus the running part 🙃
Right now my sessions look more like rehab, swimming and spinning than anything resembling miles on the road 😩
It’s frustrating (obviously), but it’s also a reminder that marathon prep isn’t just about pounding pavements. Strength, recovery and consistency are just as much a part of the process as long runs and tempo sessions.
Hopefully this block of doing everything but running means when I can run again, I’ll be ready to build back stronger 🤞🏽

LODefinition on a leg day? Yeah prep is underway.
Current leg day. Phase 2 of 3. Only phase with no squatting and replaced with heavy leg presses. Gave the hoist machine a go this round and actually found that I like it.
Legs always end up being my second favorite day just from the sheer fact of how mentally challenging it is. After legs, I can do anything.
