FLIPT THE SCRIPT EVERYONE IS TELLING YOU 👉If your cabbages always look sad in spring, it might not be you. IT MIGHT BE TIMING. This is the year of the cabbage for me, and honestly? I don’t put ALL my energy into a spring crop anymore. I’m definitely trying for a spring and fall harvest 🫶. But my best success has come from aiming for an epic fall harvest instead. To do this I start my cabbage seeds in late spring to early summer so they grow up and finish in cool weather—which is when they actually thrive. They’re not trying to size up in the heat, and that alone makes a huge difference, especially if you have a fast, hot spring like I do. ‼️BONUS: SPRING IS PEAK SLUG SEASON. By the time these are really getting going later in the season, the ecosystem is more in balance and they don’t get hammered the same way. So if cabbage has never loved you back in spring, try flipping the script this year: grow them for fall. That’s where I’ve had my best results. 🥬 Save this for later if cabbage has been your nemesis. #cabbagepatch #yearofthecabbage #cabbagesalad

It was simple in appearance, but layered with depth and flavour - a reminder of just how incredible cabbage can be when treated like a prime cut of meat or fish. 🥬 Red Cabbage Kraut 🥬 Vogues made it official, it’s the year of the cabbage and we couldn’t be happier. This is our super easy red cabbage kraut recipe. Just measure 2% of the weight of the cabbage and add that as salt. Make sure the salt is well combined and leave to rest for 30 minutes. Then put in a jar in a warm dark place for 2 weeks and your result is a live probiotic delicious kraut. #yearofthecabbage #vogue #cabbage #fermentation #applecidervinegar
