advice i wish i knew when i was in high school: going to a top university is NOT everything. it’s really easy to get caught up in the rabbit hole of elite universities and zero-sum thinking where a prestigious university is the only path to success — and i’m not going to deny that going to a top school has opened up so many opportunities for me — but please do not see university rankings and admissions as a measure of your worth. there are so many ways to live a successful and fulfilling life outside one narrow definition of success, and life has a sneaky way of leading you down paths that you could never have conceived but open up the craziest and beautiful pathways in the future! #oxbridge #ivyleague #collegeadmissions #harvard #commonapp
