Welcome to #1905Project.
The earliest postal records for this house date back to 1905, and with the home having been in my husband’s family for over 80 years, this project came with deep history, responsibility and heart.
After living here for 15 years, we faced the biggest decision of all - Do we keep it or do we demolish it?
After multiple design iterations, we landed on a solution that felt right. We chose to honour the original home and extend it thoughtfully at the rear — preserving its character while creating a space that supports modern family living.
It wasn’t without its challenges, but the result is something I’m incredibly proud of.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing our home, the process and the joy it now brings us.
