And for context, I’m 37 right now, under 12% body fat, and stronger than I was in my 20s… Rule #1 – Lift heavy. This completely changed my life the day I committed to real compound lifts.. Squats, deadlifts, bench, pull-ups. This allowed me to build real strength, muscle, and confidence that carries over into everything you do. Rule #2 – Eat like a man. I’ve got one rule. If the food didn’t exist 200 years ago, I don’t eat it. Simple. No packaged crap, no fake ingredients. Real food only. Rule #3 – Build a strong mindset. I stick to my plan even when I don’t feel like it. I train no matter what. Birthdays, Christmas, vacations. our body doesn’t care about your excuses. Being 40 isn’t an excuse to be weak and tired. You can feel like you’re 25 again if you train, eat, and recover right. And I made a full step-by-step plan for you guys over 40 how to get into the best shape of your life before 2026 comes. What DID grow my glutes👇(explanations) * As a beginner i made the mistake of doing 3 sets of 12 for all my exercises, but i’ve found 4 sets of 8 is perfect for me now. It lets me go insanely heavier and properly feel every rep, apposed to just rushing through them. *2 grams of protein per kg of your bw is crucial for muscle growth! I used to just have a protein shake daily and think that was enough😭 *I always start with the workout which burns my glutes the most, ensuring they’re activated so i can feel every other workout after them, so much better! (For me this is hip thrusts or kas glute bridges) *Caffeinated Pre- workout is obviously great for morning sessions, but i only train glutes at night, and taking pre workout too late completely messed up my sleep schedule due to the caffeine that was still in my system when trying to fall asleep.
