清水葵さんの工房にお邪魔して来ました

８月に香港での個展を控えているとの事で
工房には香港の顧客から依頼された作品が
ズラリと並べられていました
.
ダルマへの想いを熱く楽しく語る清水さん
ちょっとご挨拶でお邪魔したつもりが
楽し過ぎてついつい時間を忘れてお喋り😆.
一つ一つのダルマにストーリーがある
ものづくりの現場には作り手の想いが溢れていて
話を聞く私もワクワクが止まらなくなります

Now, using discarded denim and various other fabrics, he breathes life into the traditional Japanese craft of "Dharma" with his unique world view.

I visited Mr. Aoi Shimizu's studio!

He is preparing for his solo exhibition in Hong Kong in August.
In his studio, there were many works commissioned by his clients in Hong Kong.
Mr. Shimizu passionately and happily talks about his passion for Dharma.
I thought I was just visiting to say hello.
but we were having so much fun that we forgot about the time and chatted 😆.
Each dharma has its own story.
The craftsmen's thoughts and feelings are overflowing at the manufacturing site
I can't stop being excited to listen to their stories.
