JEENGINE INSPECTION 🔧✈️
Imagine you’re about to take off… 35,000 ft ahead…
But before that, someone had to make sure the engine is 100% safe 😱.
How do we inspect an aircraft engine?
🛫 Step 1: Visual Inspection
We check for leaks, cracks, loose fasteners, FOD, and any visible damage.
Small detail… big consequences.
🛫 Step 2: Borescope Inspection
Using a special camera, we look inside the engine — blades, combustion chamber, turbine section — without taking it apart.
🛫 Step 3: System Checks
Oil levels, filters, sensors, vibration data, and engine parameters are reviewed to detect abnormal trends.
🛫 Step 4: Documentation
Every finding is recorded. In aviation, if it’s not documented… it didn’t happen.
Only after everything checks out, the aircraft is cleared to fly. 👨🔧👩🔧
💡 Fun fact:
Some internal engine defects are measured in millimeters — but they can decide whether an aircraft flies or stays grounded.
