TO#TOWNHOUSEDesign from @archfeed_ comes a look at the remarkable Sharifi-ha House. A project by @nextoffice that reimagines how architecture can respond to both urban life and private living.
Completed between 2009 and 2013 in Tehran, the house explores the idea of the border between inside and outside. Instead of treating the façade as a fixed line, the architects transformed it into a flexible and inhabitable layer. Rotating volumes create a dynamic façade that adapts to different needs, shifting between open and enclosed spaces.
By turning this architectural “border” into a three-dimensional and porous element, the design softens the dense urban fabric while revealing hidden lifestyles within the home. The result is a striking example of how architecture can blur boundaries and create spaces that evolve with the rhythms of everyday life.
