AN10 years ago I went to GameStop near midnight with a boy I liked and we picked up my Collector’s Edition of Guild Wars 2.

We raced back to our apartments to log in to GW2’s early release and create our first characters. I created this character and I’m pretty sure we stayed up until 4am exploring Tyria together with our guild! 😅

Not many weeks later that boy asked me out on a date in Mumble after playing GW2 together. (anyone still remember that voice chat? 😆)

Now that boy is my husband and 10 years later we still play Guild Wars 2 together 🥹🤍 I’m thankful for the fun and silly memories spent playing with friends and laughing til we cry in this game. Happy 10th anniversary, Guild Wars 2! 🐉⚔️
