💗 Little tip for you- if you're not following me, Instagram might not let me message you... so follow me first!- then comment "LEAN"! 🔥 I know how discouraging it feels. 💔 You’re showing up for your workouts, eating “healthy,” and doing everything you’ve been told… but when you look in the mirror, the results just don’t reflect your effort. Here’s the hard truth (and also the good news): If you’re over 40, your body simply needs a different strategy than what worked in your 20s or 30s. ✨ These 3 shifts changed everything for me — and they can for you too: 1️⃣ Phased nutrition – not always dieting. This is critical. Your body needs seasons of eating more (not less) so you can actually build lean muscle and boost metabolism. 2️⃣ Using carbs wisely – instead of fearing them. Carbs fuel recovery, support your thyroid, regulate cortisol, improve gut health, and even help with GLP-1 and satiety when you’re getting enough fiber. 3️⃣ Progressive overload strength training – lifting with intention. Bootcamp-style classes and light weights won’t be enough for real body composition change. You need heavy, structured strength 3–4x/week. ❤️ You’re not failing. Your body just needs a smarter plan.
