ARThe Ultimate Roadmap to Australian PR 🇦🇺 !!
I'm currently writing and recording everything I did to share with all of you 😊
I was once an international student overwhelmed by all the visa and PR pathway options. I'll share everything I learnt since then to hopefully help you on your PR journey. In the meanwhile, here are the biggest topics I want to share!
1. 🗺️ Decide your visa - There are 3 big visa's for PR, 189 skill independent (point tested, most competitive, shortest processing time), 186 employer sponsored (have to stay with employer for atleast 2 more years after visa is granted) and 190 state sponsored visa (also point tested, priority occupations invited first).
2. 📈 Maximise your points - Without a sponsoring employer, you need highest points to get invited. Low points = being stuck in queue forever.
3. 🗣️ Superior English - Deciding and preparing for the correct English test is key. I got 90/90 in my english tests not once but twice!! There's a method to acheive this.
4. 📄 Documents - Ensure all the required documents are valid at the time of application. Skills assessment is notoriously hard to get. I too got rejected once and had to appeal to get a positive outcome. I learnt how to avoid this and will share more in detail with all of you! De facto relationship documents is another such document that isn't explained properly but I got my PR granted with de facto relationship partner. I will share more info on that and the remaining documents too.
5. 🤝 Support groups - Throughout my application and document preparation phase, facebook and reddit groups were my sounding board. You can post anonymously and get help, while also helping others!
There are a lot of details and nuances involved in all of these steps. Missing any tiny detail can result in your PR being refused. I'll share every thing I did to avoid this and get my PR successfully!! So make sure you follow and feel free to comment any questions you have. I'll reply to all of them 😊
