Braulio Reyes told me he witnessed a woman yelling at the 63-year old around 3rd and Egbert in the Bayview on July 3rd around 6:40pm.

Before he knew it, the elder was on the ground, bleeding from her head. “

The victim’s husband who spoke Cantonese didn’t know what to do, so Braulio called 9-1-1 and rendered aid until paramedics and SFPD arrived.

Today, SFPD tells me she died from her injuries.

There have been no arrests but the investigation continues.

Note: Braulio told me he was incarcerated 10 years but that now he works as an auto mechanic/techncian and tried to help others whenever he can. He says, to anyone who comes upon an emergency, don’t freeze, just act.
