We got these locks over a month ago and we had a lotttt of people ask for the link when we shared in our stories. I really like to make sure I like a product before I recommend it to you guys, so I wanted to spend the time trying them out first. Although having ANY child locks is a pain in the butt, these are working out really well for us! I love that they’re invisible and once you get the hang of it they’re super easy to use. You can also switch the latch to “unlocked” when you’re cooking and just want them to stay open for a while for convenience. I feel like no baby proofing solution is suuuuuper convenient - but this works for us and I love that our kitchen still looks cute. I also like that he can’t open these AT ALL by himself so there’s no risk for his little fingers to get stuck in the door. (Or today... whichever comes first.😉)⁣ ⁣ “𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙙𝙤 𝙄 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣?”⁣ 🔹Start by getting on your hands and knees —get down on your little one's level. Look and see what your baby can see.⁣ ⁣ “𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧?” ⁣ 🔹Cover outlets to prevent little fingers/objects from being inserted.⁣ 🔹Install baby gates at the top and bottom of stairs. Practice shutting it each and every time you walk through it.⁣ 🔹Install a latch on your toilet seat. Baby heads are heavy and falling in the toilet is a drowning risk. (I know this sounds awful, but I have to tell you. It saves lives.)⁣ 🔹Anchor heavy furniture to the wall. Littles love to crawl into dresser drawers, and they tip easily.⁣ 🔹Move plastic bags, cleaning supplies, medications, and chemicals out of reach or into a locked cabinet.⁣ 🔹Set your hot water heater to max out at 120 degrees to help prevent scalding.⁣ 🔹If you have a backyard pool, have MANY layers of protection including door alarms and self-closing gates.⁣ ⁣ What other tips do you have?⁣ Tag a new parent who may benefit! 💕⁣ ⁣ ✨ Check out my Amazon store to see some of my favorite babyproofing products!
