From its urban parks to chaotic markets, its famous temples to rooftop nightlife… So here’s our guide for the perfect 3 days in the city, with the best things to do in Bangkok, Thailand! 🛺 𝐃𝐚𝐲 1️⃣: 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬 & 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬 Temple hop around Wat Arun, the Grand Palace & Wat Pho, get around via the Chao Phraya river express on the river. Of course you can also visit other places too! Spend the afternoon/ evening at ICONSIAM or on a river cruise / at Asiatique, then end the day with sunset views, night markets and rooftop cocktails at Find The Locker Room or Tichuca 🍹 𝐃𝐚𝐲 2️⃣: 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬, 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 & 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐤𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 Start your morning in Lumpini or Benjakitti Park, then head to a mall such as, Emsphere / EmQuartier or Siam Paragon for lunch, explore Song Wat Road, then catch sunset at King Power Mahanakhon! For lunch head to this nearby restaurant @ Pad Thai Kratong Thong. Take rest for some time and then in the evening head to Wat Pho temple to see the Reclining Buddha statue. Enjoy the sunset at @ Pho Pier with the iconic view of Wat Arun 📌 DAY 2 Take a day tour from Bangkok to the historic city of Ayutthaya. Explore this UNESCO heritage site with beautiful temples and old ruins. Later in the evening either go explore the famous Khaosan road or check out these famous bars/clubs: * Tichuca @tichuca.bkk * Red Sky Bangkok @redskybangkok * ONYX @onyxbangkok * Maggie Choo’s @maggiechoos * SEEN Restaurant & Bar @seenrestaurantbar * The Bamboo Bar * Havana Social @havanasocialbkk * CRU Champagne Bar @cruchampagnebar * Rabbit Hole @rabbitholebkk 📌 DAY 3 For next day, start early by visiting the Wat Paknam temple and head to either Chatuchak / Plantinum mall for shopping. Don’t visit this place in Bangkok (my honest take) 📍Floating Market (Damnoen Saduak) This is one of those spots that looks incredible on Instagram, but didn’t quite live up to it for me in real life. The floating market felt: • Very crowded • Extremely touristy • Rushed and chaotic • Everyone trying to scam tourists • Extremely overpriced If you’re short on time in Bangkok, I’d personally skip this and explore local markets or quieter neighbourhoods instead. That said, if it’s your first trip and you’re curious, you might still enjoy seeing it once.
