I often get asked if I get paid to Bobsled and the answer is no. I have to pay for everything and I lose money in this sport. However, Bobsled has given me a lot of incredible opportunities that I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world 🙏🏼 The path as an Olympic Hopeful is a journey full of sacrifices in the social, time commitment, and monetary realms. This is why I have my own business outside of the sport 🛷 Most US Athletes rely on self-funding, sponsors, charitable donations, and endorsements to sustain their athletic careers because of the high monetary cost to represent the USA 🇺🇸 I’m hoping by raising awareness that one day this will be changed 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽 #bobsled #teamusa #winterolympics #bobsleigh
