Today I walked into the hospital to fill out paperwork, and it hit me harder than I expected.
I’m about to have my third baby in three years… our sweet baby boy… and while my heart is bursting with excitement, I was suddenly flooded with fear. Labor feels very real, very close, and very fast this time. I know this feeling will pass, but I wanted to share it honestly.
If you’re a mama-to-be feeling scared as things get closer, you’re not alone. Even when we’ve done this before, the unknown can still feel big. And yet… somehow we always meet the moment.
Soon there will be a baby in my arms.
Soon the fear will soften into love.
