ALEl CDS (dióxido de cloro – ClO₂ – disuelto en agua) es presentado por Andreas Kalcker como un oxidante controlado cuyo efecto se basa en su potencial redox, es decir, su capacidad de aceptar electrones y producir oxidación.
Según su explicación, no es cloro (Cl₂), sino una molécula diferente, pequeña y neutra, que actúa por un mecanismo físico-químico.
🔬 ¿Cómo funcionaría?
Kalcker sostiene que el dióxido de cloro:
• Oxida aminoácidos como cisteína y metionina.
• Inactiva enzimas esenciales para bacterias.
• Daña proteínas estructurales.
• Interfiere con la membrana celular de microorganismos.
Su argumento es que, si un patógeno pierde la función de sus proteínas clave, no puede sobrevivir.
🦠 En el caso de los virus, explica que el ClO₂ oxida proteínas de la cápside (su cubierta externa).
Al alterarse esa estructura, el virus perdería la capacidad de entrar en la célula y se volvería inactivo.
⚖️ El punto central de su teoría es la “oxidación selectiva”.
Afirma que:
• Las células humanas tienen sistemas antioxidantes como glutatión y catalasa.
• Los patógenos tendrían menor capacidad antioxidante.
• Por eso el efecto oxidante afectaría más al microorganismo que al tejido sano.
Desde esa perspectiva, el CDS ayudaría a reducir la “carga microbiana”, lo que —según él— podría disminuir inflamación y permitir que el sistema inmune se regule.
Kalcker insiste en que no lo considera un medicamento, porque no actúa sobre receptores ni por vía farmacológica, sino por un proceso de oxidación similar al que el propio sistema inmune utiliza cuando produce especies reactivas de oxígeno para combatir microbios.

✔ Actúa por potencial redox
✔ Sería más dañino para patógenos que para células humanas
✔ Reduciría carga infecciosa e inflamatoria
