CSFor nearly four decades, the Scalabrinian Centre for Migration Studies (CSEM) has been challenging dominant narratives that criminalize migration and solidarity.
In a world where borders are not only geographical, our work goes beyond understanding mobility. We question the structures and dispositifs that produce inequality and systematic violations of rights.
Our aim is to promote situated knowledge committed to human dignity and to the protagonism of migrants, refugees, stateless persons, and survivors of trafficking in persons.
Our commitment is to build alternatives that confront regimes of subalternization and affirm the centrality of life.
As we celebrate 38 years, we reaffirm a simple conviction:
👣 In our common home, there are no borders 👣
