SHCensus 2027 to be India’s First Fully Digital Census with Self-Enumeration Option

🔹 Workforce Scale: Over 30 lakh enumerators, supervisors, and officials to be deployed nationwide. 6
🔹 Language Access: Portal and mobile app available in 16 languages including Hindi and English. 7
🔹 Budget Allocation: ₹11,718.24 crore approved for conducting Census 2027. 8
