ORStep-by-step: how I made this floral tile 🌸
First I rolled and compressed the tile base. Then I made three flowers — one central bloom and two smaller ones. Three is a great number for a balanced composition. I used a bisque-fired leaf sprig to stamp repeated leaves and added tiny berries with casting slip for extra 3D detail. Finally I carved branches and small leaves to fill the background. Always remember to add hanging holes and dry large tiles flat on plaster for even drying.
