As He closed the first day of the @changenow_world Summit in Paris, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco delivered a message grounded in both scientific reality and economic momentum.
The environmental diagnosis is well known, and increasingly difficult to ignore. But what also emerged over the course of the day was something else: the visible rise of solutions already being built, financed and deployed.
Earlier on, H.S.H. Prince Albert II visited the exhibition halls, with M. Santiago Lefebvre and Mrs. Rose-Mary Lucotte, the two founders of the forum, and met entrepreneurs presenting responses across sectors, from energy and materials to food systems and waste. What stood out was not ambition alone, but the maturity of the initiatives on display: solutions grounded in science, engineering and real-world execution.
The transition is no longer something hypothetical. It is already being shaped by those turning science, innovation and investment into tangible solutions. For the @fondationprincealbert2 , this is where the challenge now lies: helping create the conditions for credible solutions to gain traction, attract support and scale their impact, including in areas such as the ocean, where the need remains immense.
As he concluded: “Do not wait for permission. Do not wait for consensus. Build it. Fund it. Scale it. The planet is keeping score, and there is no extra time.”
