"Clocks" is a standout track by Coldplay from their 2002 album A Rush of Blood to the Head. Its iconic piano riff and themes of time's relentless pressure make it a fan favorite. The song was collaboratively written by all four band members—Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion—and released as a single in March 2003. It features cryptic lyrics about urgency and contrast, built around that unforgettable piano melody, with an outro melody originally whistled by producer Ken Nelson. Clocking in at over five minutes, it follows a somewhat unconventional pop format: intro, verses, refrains, instrumental breaks, bridge, and a drawn-out coda with piano variations and layered vocals. Critics note its haunting minor chords despite a major feel, creating optimism amid dissonance. "Clocks" won Record of the Year at the 2004 Grammys and has been widely sampled. Coldplay has performed it live countless times, including a memorable 2023 rooftop version on Jimmy Kimmel Live for the show's 20th anniversary. #clocks #coldplay #viral #fyp #explorepage

Chris Martin’s face says what we’re all thinking🤩 There’s a quiet difference between speed and progress, but modern life often treats them as the same thing. We rush conversations, ideas, art, and even emotions, assuming that faster automatically means better. In many cultures, however, patience is seen as a form of intelligence rather than delay. When time is respected, quality tends to follow. Attention becomes deeper, intention becomes clearer, and results last longer. It’s interesting how the most meaningful things rarely announce themselves loudly — they unfold slowly, asking only that we stay long enough to notice. #Jungkook #ChrisMartin #BTS #Coldplay #ViralReels

While this past presidential election didn’t shake out the way Kamala Harris had hoped, it certainly won her extreme fame, ample time to plot her next career move, and also proved to be an all-around financial windfall. Harris’s book 107 Days is a runaway bestseller, projected to move upwards of 500,000 copies; doubtless netting her millions of dollars, in addition to any hugely lucrative advance she received. Not that the Oakland native was poor—Harris and husband Doug Emhoff’s longstanding stock portfolio was already worth millions. And thus it’s probably no surprise that Harris and Emhoff have joined numerous other uber-wealthy Angelenos in buying a Malibu vacation home. The property, for which they forked out an impressive $8.15 million, lies in what has long been our personal favorite Malibu neighborhood: scenic but very low-key Point Dume, a family-friendly enclave that’s quietly home to numerous Hollywood celebrities and titans of industry. Some of Harris’s new neighbors include everyone from Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Bob Dylan, and Chris Martin, to Google co-founder Sergey Brin, former Facebook CFO Gideon Yu, and a number of other tech and finance billionaires. That $8.15 million sale price is actually on the lower end for Point Dume, where blufftop homes with unobstructed ocean views have sold for north of $50 million. By contrast, Harris’s new home lies about a block inland from the bluff, though it’s still got a healthy sliver of an ocean view. Harris negotiated and scored the place at a discount, too—originally listed at nearly $10.5 million in spring 2025, the asking price had slid to just under $9 million by the time the onetime presidential candidate came calling with an even lower offer. #malibu #luxury #luxuryrealestate #pointdume #shh

Chris Martin’s father told him music was a “waste of time.” Growing up in Devon, England, his dad — an accountant — pushed him toward a “real job.” Chris started piano at 7, hated it, but refused to quit. At university, he was broke and depressed, then met Jonny Buckland through a notice board. They formed Coldplay in a freezing London flat, surviving on instant noodles. Their debut album cost £30,000. Chris wrote “Yellow” in 10 minutes. The label rejected it, calling it “too boring for radio.” It became a global anthem. Fame nearly broke him — panic attacks, vomiting backstage, feeling like a fraud. After a public divorce, he wrote Ghost Stories. Today: 100M albums sold, and Coldplay runs the first carbon-negative world tour in history. The Musician Told His Talent Was a “Waste of Time” Chris Martin’s father — an accountant — told him music would never be a career, only a “waste of time.” Growing up in Devon, Chris started piano at 7, hated every lesson, but refused to quit. At university he was broke, lonely, and spiraling — until he met Jonny Buckland through a notice board. They formed Coldplay in a freezing London flat, living on instant noodles. Their debut album cost £30,000. Chris wrote Yellow in 10 minutes. The label rejected it as “too boring for radio.” It became a global anthem. Fame nearly crushed him — panic attacks, vomiting backstage, feeling like a fraud. After his public divorce, he poured everything into Ghost Stories. Today, Coldplay has sold 100M+ albums and runs the first carbon-negative world tour in history. The kid told to get a “real job” built one of the biggest bands on Earth. 🎤 A Legendary Encounter: Vedder & Martin 🎸 Is there anything more powerful than two icons joining forces for a cause? Back in September 2016, the Global Citizen Festival stage in Central Park witnessed a collaboration that still gives us chills: Eddie Vedder and Chris Martin performing “Nothingman.” Why this version stands out: * The Chemistry: Vedder’s raw vocal grit blended perfectly with Martin’s melodic piano harmonies. * The Atmosphere: Under the NYC sky, thousands fell into a near-sacred silence as a Pearl Jam anthem was transformed into an intimate ballad. * The Message: Beyond the music, it served as a reminder that unity is our strongest tool for changing the world. If you haven’t listened to it lately, do yourself a favor and look it up. It’s a beautiful reminder that sometimes, less is more. ✨ #PearlJam #Coldplay #EddieVedder #ChrisMartin

Jacob Collier’s live version of Fix You became special because it brought the song back to its simplest core and then made it enormous again. In the official release, Chris Martin joins Collier live at London’s O2 Arena, and the performance is built around what Collier is known for most: turning the audience into part of the music itself. The official video describes it as a rendition of Fix You performed with an “Audience Choir of 15000.” That changes the meaning of the song on stage. Fix You was already one of Coldplay’s most emotionally direct songs, but here it stops feeling like a band performance and starts feeling communal. Chris Martin brings the original voice and emotional weight, while Jacob Collier reshapes the whole room into the arrangement, making the crowd sound less like spectators and more like a living choir. The result feels bigger than a duet. It is one of those rare performances where the guest appearance matters, the song already carries history, and the audience becomes part of why the moment lasts. “The Scientist” by Coldplay was released in 2002 as the second single from their album A Rush of Blood to the Head. The song is known for its soft and emotional sound, built mainly around a simple piano melody that gradually develops with gentle drums, bass, and subtle guitar elements, creating a calm and reflective atmosphere. This minimal musical arrangement allows the emotions of the song to stand out clearly. The lyrics focus on themes of love, regret, and the desire to fix a broken relationship, with the singer expressing confusion and guilt while wishing he could “go back to the start” to understand where things went wrong. The song also uses scientific references to show how people sometimes try to analyze emotions logically, even though relationships are often complicated and difficult to explain. With heartfelt vocals by Chris Martin and its simple yet powerful composition, “The Scientist” became one of Coldplay’s most popular and emotionally moving songs, widely appreciated for its depth and sincerity

Chris Martin was told by his father that music was a waste of time. He grew up in Devon, England, with an accountant dad who pushed him toward a safe career. At seven, Chris started piano. He hated it, but refused to quit. At university, he was broke and struggling with depression. He met Jonny Buckland through a campus notice board, and they formed Coldplay in a freezing London flat, living on instant noodles. Their debut album cost £30,000. Chris wrote “Yellow” in ten minutes. The label rejected it, calling it too boring for radio. It became a global anthem. Fame nearly broke him. He battled panic attacks, feeling like a fraud waiting to be exposed. After his marriage ended publicly, he poured everything into Ghost Stories. Today, Coldplay has sold over 100 million albums and leads the first carbon negative tour in history.
