I'd appreciate a like/follow if you enjoyed the content! So this is the head that I'll be using for my Legio Custodes Shield-Captain! I'm getting back into the swing of things with painting the gold. I left this one a little more pale than I usually would, but I figured that there should be some difference between my Custodes models! I also went with red instead of my usual purple. I really like the purple Aquilan Shield scheme, but I'll probably save that for 40K and go with red for my Horus Heresy models. Who knows, there's still time to decide between everything. Anyway, happy #wipwednesday everyone! Let’s paint the whole squad of Adeptus Custodes Custodian Werden in 3 hours. The simplest part is golden armor, we use any gold primer spray or airbrushing, put over wash and then highlight with gold again to rest or shine and silver for bright. Custodes have many small elements we need to pay attention, like blue stones, blades, gloves, weapon and other small stuff. The last part is cloak, that we can do easily with your basic color mixing with black and going from dark to light with 3-4 levels accenting on raised elements. #warhammer40k #miniatures #painting #tutorials #time4hobby #timeforhobby #custodes

Just some commission work in progress I’ve been dying to show off. This build is a fusion of two client visions: Halo 3 Hayabusa on a MKIV core and a Warhammer Custodes hybrid all stitched into one brutal suit of armor. The sword and energy daggers are fully modular with hidden magnetic mounts, so everything locks in clean and swaps out in seconds. Feels good to be back in the shop again, dialing in details and pushing each kit a little further than the last. #halo3 #Hayabusa #custodes #warhammer #custom I genuinely believe this guy alone could have saved reach... I was able to force my opponent into some bad trades over objectives though.
