REDeceleration is a huge part of sport. Every cut, stop, or change of direction requires the body to handle a big braking and eccentric demand.
After injury, if we’re not intentionally training how an athlete slows down, we’re missing an important part of the sport context.
These are a few ways I like to start building that back in.
