This experience will begin with some gentle movement and guided meditation led by Summer followed by a Sonic Trip sound experience led by Max High.
Sonic Trip invites you into deep space within and without. Looping flute, analog synthesizer and recorded material, Max High creates expansive soundscapes to meditate through. The approach is similar to ambient pioneers such as Brian Eno where soundscapes, repetitive patterns and droning tones aim to calm the parasympathetic nervous system - to relax the body and mind.
Bio:
Max High is a multi-instrumentalist with a focus on ambient electronic music. Using flute and synthesizers, he approaches sound experimentation as a meditative practice.
Dress for movement and bring a second layer of clothing or blanket.
