NOAs a first timer, i didn't even know what MUN is and to do there. So i called my friend GUY who has done over 20 muns by now and asked...
"Bhai MUN hota kya hai"
And guy explained the whole process to me and told me one thing "play the blame game"
Since my country was china, i knew i was cooked so all i did was blame usa mostly.
So tip no 1️⃣ Play the Blame Game
Blame other countries for the bad things they did and defend yours very wisely.
Tip no. 2️⃣ do proper research
Not just on your own country, but on all the other countries present there. Dig out there past, dig out their everything.
If you wanna know how to research more effectively, then comment "research" and I'll make a seperate reel about it.
Tip no. 3️⃣ be loud and confident
Don't just read your speaches, give your speaches. What i mean is emphasize the words and pronounciation. Go fast, go slow, create that tension and give them goosebumps.
Tip no. 4️⃣ Be attentive and listen to other delegates
There are a lot of times they'll use unparliamentary words and give incorrect facts. Raise a point of order through chits or directly and catch them off gaurd. It has lots of points.
Tip no. 5️⃣ during crisis committee specify the military artillery names.
Dont just say you'll do this you'll do that. Explain how you'll do it, what u will use to do it.
Tip no. 6️⃣ its not always about winning.
Always remember, you either win or learn smth new.
And lastly thank you to God for everything and to GUY for helping me out and to the honorable chairs for giving us so many valuable tips and information on that day.
If you have some of your own tips then please comment them so that everyone can learn. Thank you for watching.
